Manitoba’s current public health orders went into effect on Tuesday and will remain in effect until February 22.

They are as follows:
- Increasing the size of private indoor gatherings to 25 people plus family members if everyone is vaccinated (youth below the age of 12 are exempt).
- Increasing the number of people who can attend private indoor gatherings with eligible unimmunized individuals to ten people plus family members. Vaccinations are not needed for children under the age of 12.
- If everyone is fully vaccinated, increasing private outdoor gatherings to 50 people plus household members. The number of people present at gatherings with unvaccinated people eligible for vaccination is increased to 20 plus household members. Vaccinations are not needed for kids under the age of 12.
- Restaurants and licensed establishments can accommodate up to 50% of their capacity, with a maximum of 10 people per table. Sales of alcoholic beverages are allowed until midnight, but masks and proof of vaccination are still required.
- With proof of vaccination, capacity restrictions at professional sports and performing arts events have risen to 50%.
- If proof of vaccination is not required, religious gatherings will be limited to 25% of capacity or 250 people, whichever is lower. Only fully immunized people and children under the age of 12 can use 50 percent of a service’s capacity.
- Indoor sports and recreation facilities can hold up to 50% of their capacity in spectators, with proof of vaccination needed for anyone over the age of 18. Tournaments are now permitted once more. The capacity of spectators at outdoor games, practices, and tournaments can be as high as 50%.
- The retail capacity has been increased to 100%. Masks and physical separation are required.
Furthermore, employers are no longer required to report positive cases to the public health department.
Both Stefanson and Roussin stated when announcing the relaxed orders that they expected Manitoba to be restriction-free by the spring, barring any unforeseen circumstances.
