The Manitoba government partners with Economic Development Winnipeg and the Manitoba Chambers of Commerce to dispatch Retrain Manitoba, a $12.5 million labour force abilities improvement award program that will assist Manitoba with moving to the following phase of monetary recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic, Economic Development and Jobs Minister Jon Reyes declared today.

“This award program will repay businesses who are putting resources into retraining for their staff, both retroactively and for courses beginning in the months ahead.”
Employers can apply for this programme:
Businesses can apply for repayment up to $2,500 per employee to a limit of $75,000.
In addition, organizations can be reimbursed for a scope of face to face and online industry-perceived instructional classes given by an outsider coach, both inside and outside of Manitoba.
Managers who have paid for courses with start dates from April 1, 2021, to August 31, 2022, will be qualified to apply for the awards.
